BAOSTECT ABSORPTION FOAM

Basotect is an acoustic foam with an open cell structure.

The open cells of various sizes are part of the foams structure and contribute to Basotect's excellent sound absorption qualities.

FLOCK FINISH

Flock is a synthetic fiber of 0.3 to 3mm in length that gives a velvety feel to our products. Akomo uses flock fibres with a length of 0.5 to 1mm.
Basotect sound absorption qualities are enhanced by the addition of these fibres.


Flock is applied electrostatically and this causes the flock fibers to 'stand on end'.

During packaging we pay extra attention to handling to avoid any imprints in the flock.

Should the packaging film or cardboard boxes leave any imprints in the flock finish, this can be removed by brushing lightly with a clothes brush.
