BASOTECT ABSORPTION FOAM

Discover the unique sound absorption capabilities of Basotect acoustic foam.

This lightweight material, which excels in fire resistance, is extremely suitable for a wide range of applications. The open-cell structure with characteristic pores of Basotect plays a crucial role in effective sound absorption.

All our acoustic products are made with Basotect absorption foam as the foundation. These products are available in a bare version, but can also be supplied with various finishes.

On our website, you will find a wide range of acoustic solutions, with each product harnessing the benefits of Basotect absorption foam. In addition to our standard versions, we also offer the ability to customize the products with flock or high-quality upholstery, so you can not only benefit from the sound-absorbing properties but also enjoy an aesthetically pleasing design.

FLOCK FINISH

Our flock finish consists of plastic fibers with a length of 0.5 to 1 mm, which give a velvety feel to the Basotect foam. These flock fibers not only enhance the sound-insulating properties but also give the material a luxurious appearance.

Through an electrostatic process, the flock fibers are applied upright. By carefully handling the packaging of our products, we prevent the flock fibers from being flattened.

When unpacking and hanging our products, it is essential to handle them carefully and prevent them from being placed on other objects or uneven surfaces, or from anything being laid on top of them. This way, you can ensure that the fibers do not get flattened and that no damage occurs to the foam.

Color deviations in flocking

The color of flock can vary depending on the surface to which it is applied. The same flock color can look different when applied to metal or foam. Moreover, color differences can occur between different production batches.

To accurately assess the color difference, the Delta E value is used. The tolerance for color differences is Delta E < 3.5. A Delta E value of 2.3, for example, is considered a noticeable color difference (Just Noticeable Difference - JND).

When flocking products, we strive to minimize color differences. We take into account the properties of the material and ensure that the color is reproduced as accurately as possible.
